About the Farm |
|
You can find us in Southern Virginia. The Woodlands Pony farm is located in Brodnax, Virginia, in Brunswick County near Rt. 58 between I-85 and I-95, less than 1.5 hours from both Richmond, VA, and Raleigh, NC. Please schedule a visit! The Woodlands breeding program was started in the early 1950s by Sue Randolph Meredith (one of the founders of the VPBA, Virginia Pony Breeders Association). She showed ponies and later horses from the early 1930s to the early 1940s under her maiden name, Sue Bolling. She lived her dream of raising ponies at the Woodlands Plantation. Her work is being continued by her son, Bolling Randoph and his wife, Kay. Currently our ponies are trained by Kay Randolph and her daughter Laura. Special thanks to Lynnette Batt and Julie Devine and good luck on their continued studies! Click here for our location on MapQuest
